Crystal Pierce

Crystal Pierce

Crystal serves at the Ranch (aka Rancho Siloé) It is where the next generation of Latins & Indians are trained to be tribal church planters in cross-cultural contexts. After they finish two years at one of the Bible Schools (in Chihuahua City or Mexico City), they will come to the Ranch for the next two years. They will have classes ranging from Culture & Language Learning, Animism, Worldview, writing Bible Lessons in the target language with a focus on their worldview & animism, Honor & Shame, Missionary Family, Teamwork, time management, personal finances, community development, culture, phonetics, and more. As one that has finished the training, you never feel that you know enough or are prepared for what ministry God has for you.

Dougg & LeAnn CusterDougg is on the executive leadership team which oversees and gives direction to the entire mission. Specifically, he oversees everything from first contact to wheels up! This involves introducing in churches, conferences and schools the need to pray for and send out more cross-cultural harvest workers, the first contact with someone interested in missions, organizing Discover WorldVenture events, coaching a candidate through the appointment process, training new appointees and mentoring them through their partner development. LeAnn helps with these events as well as by reading applications, interviewing candidates and participating in the training.

They care by focusing on encouraging their missionaries in the Lord and help them reach their full potential for ministry. They also facilitate peer to peer debriefs in response to critical incidents, provide resources and workshops to their field for further growth. Along with this, they also help and provide care for all new arriving missionaries arriving to PNG with orientation as they learn the national language and culture and adjust to life in Papua New Guinea

Mike & Diane HartmanAfter serving the Lord in the Amazon area of Brazil for 35 years, Mike and Diane now work at the ETHNOS360 International headquarters in Sanford, Florida. Mike is the Facility Manager for the six floor HQ building. It was a big learning curve but he’s doing great. Diane works in the Finance Office, processing incoming donations and making security badges when needed. We are both thankful that we can still serve the Lord here. We work with a lot of great people and have a chance to serve others who are planting churches around the world. I like this quote; “I don’t have a big role in His plan. I’m just one person He can use...it’s not about me, it’s about Him.”

Steve & Eida IrwinSteve & Eida serve the Spanish-speaking missionaries of the mission agencies established by Ethnos360 in Latin America. The Spanish Language Resources team that they formed in 1998 provides resource materials for Latino cross-cultural church planters, such as: helps for learning tribal languages and culture, ten volumes of Firm Foundations Bible lessons, our Bible Translators’ Manual, our Literacy Manual for teaching tribal people to read and write their own language, etc. When they completed training in 1982 Baker City, they went directly to Colombia, South America, to serve on training staff, then, in the mid-90’s, partly due to revolutionary violence, they went to Mexico to help start their national training program. They continue serving in Sanford, Florida, at the Home Office of Ethnos360.
